How to Style the Tawny Necklace: A Little Heart, a Lot of Warmth
Some days, the easiest way to finish an outfit is to add one piece with a little personality. Tawny certainly has that covered.
Those amber, caramel, and espresso tones bring warmth, and the heart pendant gives your eye a place to land. You can see me wearing it here with a rust-colored top. The colors work together without needing to match exactly.
If a bold necklace makes you wonder, “What would I wear that with?” let’s start with a few things you may already have in your closet.

Meet the Tawny Necklace
Tawny’s glossy acrylic beads have a marbled look, with a mix of light and dark brown tones. The coordinating heart pendant makes it a lovely focal point for a simple outfit.

Shop the Tawny Necklace1. Let a white shirt show off the color
A white or ivory shirt gives Tawny’s rich colors room to stand out. An open collar frames the necklace and keeps the whole look relaxed.
Try it with jeans for lunch with a friend, or with trousers when you want a little more polish. Simple gold earrings are an easy finishing touch.
Audrey’s tip: Adjust the necklace so the heart sits inside the open neckline. If it catches on the shirt’s edge, move the clasp one link and look again.

2. Bring warmth to denim and everyday knits
A denim jacket and a favorite top are a good place to start. Tawny adds a finished detail to clothes you already reach for, and those warm browns look lovely beside blue denim and olive.
You could also try cream, oatmeal, rust, or chocolate brown. A solid top lets you see the necklace clearly, especially when your jacket is open.
Audrey’s tip: With a higher neckline, let the pendant rest clearly on the fabric. Try both ends of the 17–20-inch range to see where the heart settles best.
3. Add one gold chain when you want a little extra
Tawny makes a statement on its own, but a shorter gold chain can add another layer of interest. The olive blouse in this photo is a pretty example of warm beads beside a cooler green.
Start with one plain chain and leave a visible space between it and Tawny. Let the heart remain the main detail, then check the layers as you turn your head and move around.
Audrey’s tip: A blouse with a tie or gathered neckline already brings texture. Keep the extra chain simple, and arrange the tie so it doesn’t hide the pendant.

4. Find a connection with your print
You can wear a bold necklace with a patterned top. One helpful starting point is to find a color the two have in common.
Here, the blouse’s brown shapes echo the necklace’s earthy tones. The open neckline gives the heart a little breathing room, so it remains easy to see.
Audrey’s tip: Step back from the mirror and look at the whole outfit. If the necklace disappears, adjust the length or open the collar a little. Choose the version that feels comfortable to you.
One necklace, so many ways to wear it
Here are a few more looks to get your ideas going. White tops, black, stripes, cozy knits, and colorful prints each give Tawny a different feel.
Look for an outfit that reminds you of something in your own closet. That’s often the easiest place to begin.

A heart you can wear on an ordinary Tuesday
Tawny has plenty of personality, but it doesn’t require a special occasion. Start with a white shirt, a favorite knit, or that denim jacket by the door. Then give yourself a moment to play with the length.
Which would you reach for first: a crisp white shirt, denim and olive, or a favorite print?
