How to Style the Asher Necklace: Pearls with Personality
Would you wear pearls with your favorite sweater? I certainly would.
There’s something lovely about that soft pearl look beside a cozy knit or an open denim collar. You can enjoy it on an ordinary day, with clothes that are already in your closet.
The Asher Necklace makes a pretty starting point. Add the polished James Earrings and, when you feel like a little extra personality, a Bubble Heart Charm.
Meet the Asher Necklace

Meet Asher: a fresh take on pearls.
Asher features imitation pearls all the way around, with tiny metallic accents that break up the pearls and add a little shine. Choose stainless or gold stainless to start with the finish you reach for most.
It’s pretty worn alone, and it gives you a textured starting point if you enjoy layering.
- Price: $30
- Length: adjustable 17″–20″
- Materials: imitation pearls with stainless or gold stainless accents
- Closure: lobster clasp
Three easy outfits to try with Asher
Start with a top you like wearing. Then let your neckline help you choose the necklace length.
1. A cozy sweater and jeans
Try Asher with cream, oatmeal, or a favorite solid-color knit. The pearl finish brings a little light to the outfit, while the sweater keeps the whole look relaxed.
With a crewneck, adjust the necklace so it sits clearly above the neckline or on the fabric. Give it a little room to settle.
2. An open-collar denim shirt
I like the idea of pearls peeking out from an open collar. The denim and pearls give you two different textures without needing much else.
Start toward the shorter end of Asher’s range, then adjust until you can see the necklace comfortably inside the collar.
3. A black top for dinner
A simple black blouse or dress gives the imitation pearls a darker background to stand out against. Add James for polished shine near your face.
For a little more presence, bring in the Bubble Heart Charm and let that be the focal point.
The finishing touch
Pair pearls with the James Earrings.
When a necklace has plenty of texture, I like trying a smooth metal earring beside it. James brings that contrast with a sculptural, polished shape.
These 1″ post earrings are $18 and come in stainless and gold stainless. Choose the finish that matches Asher’s accents for an easy starting point.
You can also wear James with chains, colorful beads, or a favorite pendant. That’s useful when you want a pair you can reach for with several outfits.

Add a little heart.
The Bubble Heart Charm gives this pearl look a playful finish. Its puffy shape and bright, polished surface make it a focal point without adding another necklace.
The 1″ charm is $20 and is sold separately from Asher. Choose gold stainless or stainless.
Wear Asher simply one day, then try the heart when you want to change the look. You can also explore pairing the charm with another necklace or bracelet you own.

Try Asher with one simple chain you already own. Adjust the two necklaces so you can see a little space between them, and check whether they stay comfortably separated as you move.
If you’re wearing the Bubble Heart, start with a plain chain as your second layer. That lets the heart keep its place as the focal point.

Make the combination your own.
Start with Asher alone, add James for a little polish, or bring in the heart when you want that extra detail. You can build the look a piece at a time.
Asher and James together are $48. Adding the Bubble Heart brings the three-piece combination to $68, before tax and shipping.
