How to Style the Cypress Necklace: Winter Greens Made Easy

Your favorite sweater has plenty of life left in it. Maybe it just needs a little green.

The Cypress Necklace brings glossy beads, rich evergreen shades, and smoky neutrals to the clothes you already enjoy wearing. Let’s put together a few easy looks.

If you tend to reach for cream, gray, denim, or black, a colorful necklace can be a lovely way to change things up without rethinking your whole outfit.

What catches my eye about Cypress is the mix of colors and surfaces. The green beads bring depth, while the translucent and smoky beads break up the color. There is plenty to look at in one strand.

Bold texture, with room to make it yours

The Cypress Necklace combines rounded acrylic beads in evergreen, smoky neutral, and translucent tones with gold stainless steel components.

  • Materials: Acrylic and stainless steel
  • Metal option: Gold stainless
  • Length: Adjustable 17–20 inches
  • Look: A single strand of glossy beads with varied shades and dimension

Wear it alone for a clear focal point, or try it with a separate chain if you enjoy layering.

What colors can you wear with Cypress?

Here are the combinations I would try first. Choose the one that sounds most like your closet.

Color to tryAn easy starting point
Cream or oatmealA simple sweater gives the green beads a light background.
Gray or charcoalA knit top picks up the necklace’s smoky tones.
Denim blueAn open denim shirt keeps the beads feeling casual.
BlackA plain blouse lets the glossy finish bring interest.
Sage or oliveA softer green creates a pretty mix of related shades.

1. Give your everyday sweater a little color

Try this: Cream sweater + dark jeans + Cypress + small gold hoops.

This is an easy place to start when you want to look put together for lunch, errands, or a visit with a friend. The glossy beads give a soft knit a different texture, and the green keeps the outfit interesting.

A fine or medium knit may give the necklace more room to settle than a thick, bulky collar.

2. Let casual clothes join in

Try this: Sage zip-neck top + comfortable jeans + Cypress + simple studs.

This photo is such a useful reminder: you can wear a noticeable necklace with relaxed clothes. An open zip neckline gives the beads a little room to show.

You could try the same idea with an open denim shirt and a plain tee underneath.

3. Dress up a familiar black top

Try this: Black blouse or simple dress + Cypress + gold earrings + one bracelet.

For dinner or a winter gathering, let the green beads be the color in your outfit. A plain neckline gives their rounded shapes and shine space to show.

The emerald fabric in this photo offers another idea if you love wearing color: try greens together for a richer evening look.

Want to add a second necklace?

Cypress has enough personality to wear on its own. If you enjoy layers, start with a slim gold chain at a different length so each necklace has room to show.

The pendant necklaces in the styled photos are separate pieces. They offer layering inspiration and are not included with Cypress.

A quick neckline check

With a scoop or open collar, try the beads within the opening. With a crew neck, check whether they sit comfortably above the edge or over the fabric. A thick turtleneck may need more length than this necklace offers.
